Finissage «MPH architectes: Intimità»

Within the series of events positions in space, will take place at i2a istituto internazionale di architettura in Vico Morcote on Wednesday 2 May 2012 at 8.30pm the finissage of the installation conceived by MPH architectes (Nicolas Monnerat, Franck Petitpierre, Olaf Hunger) that opened 28 March 2012. On this occasion, MPH will be holding at i2a a conference in Italian to present their most recent works and projects.

MPH architectes signed the 13th edition of positions in space which took the opportunity to open to the rest of Switzerland. This event brought to Vico Morcote some of the most eclectic representatives of contemporary architecture, based in Lausanne and Barcelona, thus opening our invitation to architects from all Switzerland. For the installation Intimità, shown in i2a's exhibition space, MPH have examined the issue of threshold, i.e. the border between public and private space, that an architect needs to address in his projects. For the vernissage's performance, they involved Florian Graf, an artist (based in Basel, London and Berlin) focusing on architecture's emotional and social dimensions and dynamics.

The installation can be seen every day until Wednesday 2 May 2012 at i2a istituto internazionale di architettura (Monday-Sunday 10am-8pm, free admittance, ground floor space, Portich da Sura 18, Vico Morcote, Switzerland).
On the occasion of the finissage, which will take place Wednesday 2 May at 8.30pm at i2a, MPH architectes will evoque their work. The conference will be held in Italian.

The event will be broadcast in live streaming on www.i2a.ch.
