Description
Competition 1st Place
This industrial and residential area was built in the 1930s and the challenge was to revitalise the location. We won the competition and since then have been in a development process in realising our design, which is based on three categories:
- an industrial area;
- a residential area;
- a natural area.
Each zone has a clear, identifiable atmosphere. Linking the three areas is a long axis which we extended towards a 2000 years old Roman fortress.
