Workshop: Public Space in a Digital Era

i2a international institute of architecture welcomes again to Vico Morcote (Lugano), a year later, the students of Columbia University in New York, of the Politecnico di Milano, of the Politecnico di Genova, of Istanbul Technical University and the Tongji University in Shanghai for a workshop entitled "Public space in a digital era" that will take place from Monday 30 July to Sunday 5 August 2012, complemented by public conferences in the evenings.

The students, accompanied by Frederic Levrat, professor at Columbia University, and Oliviero Godi, professor at the Politecnico di Milano, will be reflecting on the transformations of space brought by new technologies. The area scrutinised by the study will be that of the "infrarealities" program initiated by i2a in 2011.

i2a has also been asked to take part in a consultancy workshop in Taipei from Monday 23 July to Monday 6 August focusing on the development of the Yangminsgshan (Taiwan) area, together with other academic institutions from Japan, China, Australia and Taiwan.
