Since 2021, FABULOUS URBAN | NIGERIA FOUNDATION has been active in the Precious Seeds Community, part of the Oworonshoki neighborhood. Among the projects implemented are a number of MDDTs (Mobile Dry Diversion Toilets) and the Oworonshoki Mobile Clinic. Among the capacity building and empowering activities are the Fair Shared City: Lagos. Feminist city planning from the micro-level, the The Fair Shared City Approach to Urban Community Development. Oworonshoki, Lagos, and the Oworonshoki Local Building Code Project.
As of August 2023, FABULOUS URBAN | NIGERIA FOUNDATION has embarked on e rebuilding plan for the Precious Seeds Community.
In addition, in collaboration with other NGOs, we continue the advocacy for the slum dwellers in all Oworonshoki, evicted by the Lagos State government, end of July 2023. Partner organizations include: Rethinking Cities, Shantytown empowerment foundation, CEE-Hope, Oworo Youth forum, Lot5 Charity foundation, Lagos Urban Development Initiative, and Heinrich Böll Stiftung Abuja.
