Sporthallen BZT Frauenfeld
kit was established by Roman Loretan, Andreas Schelling, and Gianet Traxler in 2009. After studying at the ETH Zurich, Loretan and Schelling both worked for internationally renowned studios in New York and London, while Traxler gained several years of experience as project architect in a well-known Swiss practice.
Together with a team of architects and engineers they work on a wide range of projects: from private assignments to public projects such as educational facilities, housing and infrastructure projects. They have won several architectural competitions in Switzerland and received multiple honourable mentions for their work. To date they have completed a single family home as well as a larger housing development. Further projects are to be completed by 2016.
In 2010 kit received the Foundation Award for best young Swiss architects. Their work has been discussed in a variety of known architectural magazines and their «House in The March District» has won awards such as «bestarchitects15» and «building of the year 2014».
