Harald Echsle, dipl. Arch. ETH SIA, studied architecture at the ETH in Zurich (1991–1997) and at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture in Wisconsin (1991). He worked as a project manager at Bétrix & Consolascio architects in Erlenbach for the sports hall Herti in Zug (1997–2001).
Together with Annette Spillmann, he is one of the founding partners of spillmann echsle (founded in 2002). He has been a member of juries of various architectural competitions. The office has won renowned prizes and awards such as Deutscher Designpreis, Award für Marketing und Architektur or Best architects. Their work has been published in several books and periodicals.

Annette Spillmann, dipl. arch. ETH sia, studied sociology and cinema at the University of Zurich (1990–1994) and architecture at the ETH Zurich (1994–2000) and at the Columbia University, New York (1998). She was teaching as an assistant in design and construction at the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz in Muttenz (2005–2007).
Together with Harald Echsle, she is one of the founding partners of spillmann echsle (founded in 2002). She has been a member of juries of several architectural competitions. Various projects of spillmann echsle have been awarded with renowned prizes such as Deutscher Designpreis, Award für Marketing und Architektur or Best architects and have been published in several books and periodicals.
