In 2023 the Luzerner Kantonalbank (LUKB) headquarters got a fresh new look. Thanks to the “Quarter within a Quarter” interior architecture concept by Dobas, the once sober LUKB customer service hall was transformed into a vibrant meeting place.
The Neustadt-Hirschmatt quarter just outside the headquarters served as the creative inspiration to the project team. They cleverly integrated typical elements from the city landscape into the customer service hall in an unobtrusive manner. The interior architects deliberately focused on selected materials during the implementation in order to create a harmonious atmosphere.
Despite logistical challenges, above all as a result of the central urban location, the project was finished in November 2023. A festive public event was held to celebrate the successful completion of the renovation.
