The new building closes the existing construction gap adjacent to the Erlentor residential development and will in future form the prelude to the new quarter in the south. The triple gymnasium is lit by skylight windows and the roof serves as a break area. The kindergarten is integrated into the school building, but has its own access and outdoor area on the first floor. The arrangement of the rooms and the usable corridor areas allow a contemporary school operation with modern forms of teaching. All classrooms have an adjacent group room. Various roof terraces are available to the school for breaks and teaching purposes. The auditorium, which can also be used for evening events, is located on the top floor of the building.
The school building is certified according to Minergie-P-ECO and thus meets very high requirements in terms of energy efficiency and building ecology.
